![]() From 2013, he would continually repeat this building process following the construction of Stampy's Hot Buns, switching between Stampy's Funland and Stampy's Town at a consistent rate, creating at least 270 separate structures and attractions over the course of ten years with his various helpers, counting his second house as a single structure, the number continually rising, though he would take a major year-long hiatus following 2018, 6 years duration of dedicating himself to building his world, then followed by two minor hiatuses. In 2012, he would begin the general basis of his world with the construction of both his second house and his crazy golf course. During these beginning stages, he would experience at least 10 total dog deaths and at least 5 special tames, as well as tame a cat, of whom he would call Mittens. Stampy finally completed the general requirements for the second house in " Animal Farm", following up his decisions with the construction of Stampy's Funland in " A Bad Sign", beginning officially in " The Friendly Creeper" with the Creeper Coaster, and his town in " The Hungry Sheep" with Stampy's Hot Buns. Having created the world himself, Stampy proceeded to build his first and second house, accompanied by his dog Gregory only in " Gregory The Dog" and various helpers in the process. Stampy is the first character to appear in the series, Stampy's Lovely World, having created the world itself in his namesake in " Welcome To Stampy's Lovely World". For not directly confirmed reasons (though hinted to be a nod to Joseph's physical appearance, mentioned in the "From Then to Now" 1M sub special), he ended up changing it to "stampylongnose" - the latter term that would later become the name of his main channel and, later, the long form of his Minecraft username. This was where he got the "stampylonghead" name. Joseph Garrett first used the term as one of his characters in an animation that he made. The term "Stampy" was used even prior to the creation of the current character. This skin originally came from The Summer of Arcade promotional skin pack and was exclusive to the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft, but was later included in Skin Pack 4 for the Xbox One edition. ![]() The skin that the character is most associated with is from the video game character Fidget of Dust: An Elysian Tail, and not a cat like popularly believed.
